Any individual of any age can benefit a great deal from yoga. “Yoga” means “to yoke”, specifically referring to the union of the mind and body. Our instructors pay close attention to the needs of each individual, and are there to help modify positions, if needed, to suit the individual better. In addition to significantly increasing your body’s strength and flexibility, yoga has also been shown to help lower blood pressure and help improve the body’s circulation.
